A new position for an experienced CAD technician (not 3D CAD) is urgently required for a leading engineering services company for new upcoming projects to support project delivery.

This role focuses on 2D AutoCAD panel layouts and electrical schematics for bespoke control systems within the automation and industrial engineering industries. This is an onsite role with occasional client site visits (not remote).

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate 2D panel layout drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Work with engineers to develop design packages for control panels and associated assemblies.
  • Configure and utilise AutoCAD Electrical where applicable.
  • Interpret engineering notes, design briefs, and standards to create compliant drawings.
