Job Purpose

To support the design team in delivering a wide range of creative projects, with a primary focus on new business proposals and social media asset development for clients. The role requires strong attention to detail, an interest in graphic design and visual communication, and the ability to perform accurately under tight deadlines. Solid knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint is important, and familiarity with other design software is beneficial but not essential. The position also involves building effective working relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality design support for Hudson Sandler and for both existing and potential clients, bringing creativity and attention to detail to every project.
  • Create, format, and update new-business and client PowerPoint presentations, applying strong layout and visual design skills.
  • Produce engaging social media assets for a diverse range of clients and platforms.
  • Work confidently within established brand guidelines, translating them across multiple collateral types including presentations, advertisements, and social media content.
  • Revise and refine design work based on feedback from colleagues and clients.
  • Proof and prepare design files for final print or digital delivery, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Hudson Sandler brand, quickly adapting to its visual language and contributing to the evolution of brand assets as needed.

Professional & Technical Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a strong advantage.
  • Technically minded, with the ability to learn new software and tools quickly.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with excellent organisational skills and the capacity to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong awareness of working within varying schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage expectations through consistent communication and timely escalation of any potential issues.
  • Capable of coordinating projects and resources—people, materials, and support—to ensure efficient and effective delivery.

Team

  • Be self-motivated, friendly team player.
  • Adhoc support for videographer on production days – assistance with shooting and kit where needed – no experience in this area required.
  • Effective in a variety of settings, one to one, small or large groups, with peers, direct reports and managers.
  • Share design skills with wider teams through teach-in and training sessions on PowerPoint tips and techniques.
