Job Title : Recruitment and HR Manager

Location: 3-day in the Edinburgh office

We are seeking an experienced and independent HR Manager for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. This role requires a versatile HR professional with expertise in recruitment, general HR functions, and a solid understanding of regional HR laws. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR Operations, navigate complex HR landscapes, ensure compliance, and foster a positive workplace culture. This role will report to the Regional HR Director.

How you’ll shape the future of talent:

  • Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process across EMEA, collaborating with hiring managers to develop strategies and ensure smooth new hire transitions.
  • HR Generalist: Guide performance management, employee relations, and organizational development, managing the employee lifecycle to ensure legal compliance.
  • HR Laws & Compliance: Stay current with regional and international employment laws, advising management on compliance risks and supporting audits.
  • HR Operations: Collaborate with HR Operations to streamline processes, ensure data accuracy, and address payroll and benefits-related employee concerns.
  • HR Leadership: Independently lead HR projects, balancing market-specific needs with company goals, while building strong relationships with local HR teams and business leaders.
  • Employee Engagement & Development: Promote a positive work culture, address employee concerns, and develop engagement initiatives to improve retention, job satisfaction, and support training programs.

You’ll be someone who can bring:

  • Experience navigating complex employment laws across the EMEA region.
  • Strong HR operations knowledge with the ability to implement effective HR processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and across diverse cultures.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and professional, with the ability to work independently and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and relevant HR tools.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
