Early Talent Recruiting Lead
About the team We are transforming our in-house Talent Acquisition capabilities. Early Talent/Early Careers hold a critical position in any business, and you’ll be joining and contributing to the ongoing evolution. Your role will stretch you as we advise the business and stakeholders on Early Talent strategies where you will be seen as a trusted partner and ‘go to’ person in the Talent Acquisition team. The work you do will leave a lasting and positive imprint on the candidates, hiring leaders and colleagues that you work with.
About the role The Early Talent Recruiting Lead is responsible for the creation and coordination of the Early Talent/Career strategy including, the end-to-end recruitment journey. You will partner with Hiring Managers, HR Leads and Global Programme owners to increase the knowledge and awareness of the importance of Early Talent across multiple geographies and support in the attraction and hiring of Early Talent.
Our Early Talent strategy is still maturing at a global level. This role will support build and implement Early Talent recruitment best practices as well as, align existing practices to a standardised way of working.
The role will take the lead in building the global Haleon brand awareness that will attract and hire top talent while delivering a positive candidate experience.
This role supports all Early Talent programs: Apprentice, Industrial Placements, Internships, Graduate, Student Workers and MBA hiring.
You’ll set the standard for delivering excellence, analyse early talent recruitment data and metrics, providing valuable insights to program/hiring managers regarding recruitment performance, market trends, and areas for improvement. By staying updated on early talent market conditions, emerging technologies, and industry trends, you’ll ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top early talent.
This role has no direct reports but will be expected to work effectively across multiple TA teams globally via Talent Acquisition Managers for strategic amendments and updates and, via Talent Acquisition Partners for operational delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategy Development and Coordination: Develop, implement and coordinate Early Talent Acquisition strategies globally ensuring alignment with business objectives, workforce plans, and diversity and inclusion goals. Consult in the selection of university events, coordination & participation as needed.
- Stakeholder management: Partner with program managers, hiring managers, HR business partners and, local Talent Acquisition teams to understand early talent requirements, existing practices and resourcing needs. Build strong relationships and provide consultation on talent acquisition best practices. Partner with the Employment Branding Recruitment Marketing team and lead of all matters required for the Early Talent programs.
- Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including relationships with universities, early career platforms, which include attraction & assessment, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management. Continuously improve recruitment processes and tools to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Compliance and Diversity: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the talent acquisition process. Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment practices.
- Coordinate the offer process aligned to the company rewards policy, salaries and benefits with candidates. Act as the main point of contact for compensation and rewards changes for the Early Talent programs.
- Growth mindset: Take the lead to challenge the status quo and use data to identify where and how we focus our resources and leadership skills to impact change. Take calculated risks and learn from mistakes. Remain curious about colleagues, customers and consumers.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstratable experience of delivering end to end Early Talent acquisition solutions through in-house recruiting as part of or leading an Early Talent team.
- Proven experience of owning both internal and external relationships relating to the Early Talent process and experience.
- Ability to think and operate strategically and execute Early Talent recruitment strategies to achieve hiring needs.
- Experience with Early Talent recruitment technology, including applicant tracking systems and social media platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting using recruitment metrics and tools.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends, labour market dynamics, and employment laws within the region or complex country.
- Demonstratable ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

- Previous experience of leading Early Talent across multiple countries
- Desire to build, grow and lead the next generation of both Early Talent and Hiring Managers in the best recruitment practices
