Hudson River Trading is seeking a Technical Procurement Specialist to join our growing Enterprise Technology team. This role will be responsible for streamlining HRT's procurement operations in EMEA and APAC, with a strong focus on data accuracy, workflow automation, and stakeholder support. In this role, you will support our Technical Procurement team by ensuring consistent and reliable data entry in Workday, automating daily operations, and implementing global standardization. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with multiple teams at HRT to understand their procurement needs, analyze spend and supplier data, leverage their strong understanding of global procurement processes and procedures, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive consistency and automation of procurement processes across global offices.
  • Assist with managing contracts (statements of work, requests for proposals, NDAs, and other agreements) including licenses, service agreements, and warranties for our software/hardware.
  • Oversee hardware asset management, including existing stock and forecasting as needed in anticipation of procurement or logistics difficulties.
  • Support procurement stakeholders with process and transactions including purchase orders, receipts, invoices, credit card receipts, contracts, and other financial documents.
  • Support regional stakeholders with reporting and training on system processes.
  • Build and maintain detailed procurement records, vendor contracts, purchase orders, and invoices within Workday and other internal systems.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a procurement, supply chain, or financial operations role with a focus on data accuracy and analysis.
  • Proven track record supporting cross-functional teams and managing multiple procurement requests simultaneously across time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate difficult or complex problems with brevity and clarity.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment where process improvement and attention to detail are key.
  • Ability to strategize and provide process feedback across teams.
  • Experience working with P2P and ERP financial systems such as Workday, Netsuite or Coupa (Workday preferred).
  • Experience working with EMEA/APAC vendor relationships, including software licensing, hardware, maintenance, and services.
