Hudson Lifting is looking for a motivated Hire Desk Controller to join our new depot in Newcastle. You will play a vital role in supporting our customers and ensuring they have the right equipment for their needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing top-notch customer service by handling inquiries for lifting equipment and our full range of products.
- Liaising with customers regarding all hire, sales, and service inquiries, offering solutions tailored to their needs.
- Promoting our company and services proactively, ensuring customers are aware of all we offer.
- Negotiating hire rates, preparing detailed quotations, and ensuring all specifications are clear.
- Performing administrative duties, including resolving any customer queries efficiently.
- You may also be asked to take on additional tasks as needed to support the team and our customers.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has excellent customer service skills and experience in a high-volume hire desk environment.
- Can work independently, with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach.
- Knowledge of lifting and safety equipment is a plus, but don’t worry if you’re not an expert – we’ll provide all the training you need.
- Has a passion for customer satisfaction and a strong desire to contribute to a growing, forward-thinking company.
