Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Barrow-In-Furness for a Schools IT Technician. The Schools IT Technician will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with the installation and maintenance of IT systems and equipment, and delivering technical training to school staff and students. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the efficient operation of IT services, maintaining accurate documentation, and offering high-quality customer service to end users.

Qualifications

  • Technical Support, Troubleshooting, and Information Technology skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Experience in delivering technical Training
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications or a degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Prior experience in an educational environment is a plus
