From our luxury showroom, we serve customers across Kent and the South East, supplying and installing high-quality carpets, bespoke rugs, stair runners, hardwood flooring, and luxury vinyl tiles. Our reputation is built on exceptional workmanship, attention to detail, and outstanding customer care. Due to continued demand, we are now looking to welcome an experienced Carpet Fitter to our professional and supportive team.
The Role
You will carry out high-quality carpet installations within residential and selected commercial properties, ensuring every project meets our exacting standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting of carpets to a flawless finish
- Careful uplift and responsible disposal of existing flooring, including furniture handling where required
- Assessing and preparing subfloors prior to installation
- Maintaining a professional and courteous presence in customers' homes
- Keeping tools, equipment, and vehicle in excellent working order
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years' carpet fitting experience
- Strong knowledge of carpet types, materials, and installation techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence and suitable van
