The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Location: Preston

Purpose: To manage the commercial and contractual aspects of acoustic installation projects, ensuring effective cost control, profitability, and value for money from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets, costs, and cash flow
  • Produce valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
  • Procure materials, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Monitor and manage variations and change orders
  • Administer contracts (JCT/NEC) and manage commercial risk
  • Produce regular financial reports and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with project managers and site teams to support delivery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, fit-out, or specialist subcontracting
  • Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools
  • Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar)

Desirable:

  • Experience in acoustic systems, partitions, ceilings, or interior fit-out
  • Membership of or working towards RICS or CIOB

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
