A leading provider of environmental and grounds services is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead its commercial growth strategy. This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving revenue, developing high‑performing sales teams, and securing long‑term contracts across commercial and public‑sector markets, with a strong focus on housing associations.

The successful candidate will be a strategic, results‑driven sales leader with experience managing complex sales cycles and building scalable sales operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver the company's sales and business development strategy
  • Lead, coach, and develop a national sales and business development team
  • Drive new business acquisition, particularly within housing associations and related public‑sector bodies
  • Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with housing association executives, procurement teams, and key stakeholders
  • Oversee bid and tender submissions, including framework agreements, pricing, and commercial governance
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
  • Represent the business at industry events, forums, and client meetings
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role

  • Strong understanding of public‑sector procurement, frameworks, and tendering processes
