Overview

We're seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support our next stage of growth. You'll play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships and helping drive revenue through strategic sales activities across our full range of services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect and qualify new business opportunities (SMEs, mid-market and enterprise) through research, networking and outreach strategies.
  • Generate leads and develop sales pipelines aligned with company growth targets.
  • Conduct targeted cold calls, email campaigns, and virtual/in-person meetings with potential clients.
  • Present service offerings clearly and professionally, tailoring solutions to client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, account management) to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare proposals, commercial terms and contracts in line with company guidance.
  • Track performance against sales targets; produce revenue forecasts and activity reports.

  • Proven experience in a business development, sales or client-facing role (print, marketing, technology or services sectors advantageous).
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and strategic mindset.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools to manage pipelines and report on activity.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
