Your Role

We’re hiring a Solution Consultant to join our College & Professional team, where you’ll support the pre-sales, pro service and product innovation phases of our customer journey. You’ll be a key partner in helping us achieve our growth targets by delivering tools and expertise that improve the Hudl product experience for elite teams across the globe.

As a Solution Consultant, you’ll:

  • Consult and demonstrate. You’ll deliver product demonstrations and consultative presentations to College & Professional customers—including clubs, federations and universities—during the pre-sales process. You’ll focus specifically on Pro Suite and our data science solutions.
  • Support the sales cycle. You’ll manage the end-to-end process from creating market insights and product decks at the assess stage through to capturing post-sales handover content in Salesforce to ensure a smooth transition for our customers.
  • Enable our teams. You’ll train and enable our sales teams to communicate the value of Hudl products confidently. By setting up training sessions and focus groups, you’ll ensure our communication with clients is consistent and meaningful.
  • Bridge the gap. You’ll capture and share customer case studies, insights and feedback across internal teams like Product, Marketing and Support. You’ll also jump into special projects like blogs and bespoke presentations to support the broader business.

For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in London, but with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.

Must-Haves

  • Tableau certified. You have a current and verifiable Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst certification.
  • A Tableau Cloud expert. You have experience managing sites, projects, permissions, data sources and content governance.
  • Data-driven. You have a deep understanding of data modeling fundamentals, including fact/dimension design and row-level security to build scalable dashboards.
  • Technically proficient. You’re strong in SQL and have a working knowledge of Python or R for advanced data prep.
  • A complex problem solver. You’ve built actionable dashboards from complex, high-volume datasets—bonus points if you’ve worked with event-driven or spatio-temporal data.
  • Consultative. You have experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to build dashboards that drive real business or performance decisions.
  • Passionate about football. You have a genuine desire to learn sports analytics and help football teams succeed.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Industry experience. You’ve worked inside a professional football club, federation or licensed analytics provider.
  • Platform knowledge. You have a working knowledge of StatsBomb or Wyscout platforms and data models.
  • Data specific. You have hands-on experience working with football event data or physical tracking data.
  • Advanced tech skills. You have exposure to Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt or JavaScript for embedded analytics.
  • Multilingual. You speak a second language like Spanish, Italian, German, French, Portuguese or Russian.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time above any required statutory leave, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
  • Support your wellbeing. Depending on location, we offer medical and retirement benefits for employees—but no matter where you’re located, we have resources like our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups to support your mental health.
