We’re looking for a Key Account Director to manage and grow a portfolio of our most high-value and strategically important professional clients. This role is a crucial blend of high-level relationship management, strategic evangelism, and driving significant revenue growth.

Your Role

  • Carry some of the highest individual sales quotas at Hudl, focusing on high new revenue targets across a low number of strategic accounts.
  • Set the selling strategy and surpass revenue goals, maximizing deal value through effective negotiation to drive growth, profitability, and retention.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, setting best practice standards, assisting with hiring, and leading training sessions on selling the Hudl Suite.
  • Drive strategic change in the market, challenging customers and encouraging increased Hudl consumption at the club, league, and association levels.
  • Contribute to Hudl leadership vision by providing key feedback, summarizing customer wins and losses, identifying market trends, and delivering insights to shape the overall sales strategic vision.
  • Champion organizational efficiencies by bridging other Hudl departments with the sales team to shape products, sales processes, Go-to-Market efforts, and operational efficiencies.

Must-Haves

  • Experienced success in high-value sales, with five or more successful years of Senior Account Executive or Senior Customer Success Management experience, or equivalent.
  • Accomplished with large quotas, consistently achieving and exceeding large revenue targets.
  • Highly networked, with a strong connections network across all decision-makers, including executive leadership personas.
  • Methodical and strategic, trained in a leading Sales Methodology (e.g., Challenger, MEDDIC, SPIN) and producing accurate forecasts.
  • A proven leader and mentor, exemplifying core Senior AE competencies while managing both new and renewal business.
  • Solutions and growth mindset, always looking for ways to drive revenue with a solutions-first attitude.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Trained in negotiation; specific negotiation training is a strong preference.
  • Deep product and software knowledge, including Hudl Admin, Sportscode, WIMU, Wyscout, Statsbomb, and physical tracking data or alternatives.
  • Hudl product knowledge, with prior knowledge of Hudl products or other sports tech.

Compensation

The base salary range and on-target earnings (OTE) for this role are displayed below. Typically, the total compensation will fall within the middle of the OTE band.

  • Base Salary Range: £51,000 - £85,500 GBP
  • On-Target Earnings: £102,000 - £171,000 GBP

Our compensation decisions are based on an individual’s experience, skills and education in line with our internal pay equity practices. Final compensation will depend on performance against quotas outlined in your Individual Sales Plan (ISP) upon hire. This role will also be eligible for a long-term incentive (LTI) award. Any bonuses awarded are based on individual and company performance paid at Hudl's discretion.
