That is why we: fight for our clients, stand up for the vulnerable, and give a voice to those seeking justice.Our firm is award-winning and highly acclaimed, recognised as one of the UK’s Best 250 law firms by The Times for five consecutive years.## About the Role## What you will be doingWe are looking for a Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years’ PQE or similar to join our Travel Litigation Department in our Manchester office.In this role, every day will be a unique and exciting challenge that will include:* Running a caseload of pre-litigation and litigated accident abroad cases* Ensuring that cases are progressed effectively, meeting defined deadlines, and complying with precedents and documents in our case management system* Providing a high level of client care, respect and integrity in the management and progression of client’s cases* Obtaining medical evidence when required and reviewing and providing advice on it* Collating and reviewing documentation and evidence* Managing all aspects of cases including time recording, billing and debtor management in order to achieve personal fee and chargeable time targets* Actively engaging in Business Development to ensure high visibility of the department and wider companyVisit our page to see the cases you’ll be working on.## What you will needWe are thrilled to offer this exciting opportunity and are looking for individuals with the following experiences, qualifications, and personality traits. We are eager to hear from a diverse range of candidates and encourage you to showcase your best qualities.In the role, you will need (ESSENTIALS):* Experience in a similar role and should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Personal Injury and Travel Litigation markets.* A sound understanding of the relevant law.* A strong commercial awareness.* Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of a case from beginning to end.* Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by an ability to communicate accurately, clearly, and concisely, both verbally and in writing.* Be able to demonstrate high client care/service skills.It is desired that you have:* Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.* Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise a workload effectively.* Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.* Solid experience in using a variety of IT packages.
