Who we are looking for
We are recruiting for legal professionals to join our nationally acclaimed Civil Liberties Team to represent clients in civil claims against the Post Office following the Horizon IT scandal and/or related claims or litigation. You can be based in either our Hull or Manchester office. This is a great opportunity to join an engaging team of specialists, where everyone works closely to deliver the best results for our clients and their families. You will work with a friendly and supportive team on high-profile claims arising from the biggest miscarriage of justice in UK legal history.
The successful candidate will be either a qualified solicitor, a chartered Legal Executive or a Litigation Executive and have proven experience in high value litigation and in the quantification of loss work, whether from a background in serious injury, clinical negligence, industrial disease or civil liberties. Ideally you will have experience in working with forensic accountants, counsel and assessing medical evidence for the purposes of considering claims for loss of capital value, pension etc.
We are recruiting for two fee earners who will have their own caseloads who will be of a Grade B experience level or above. We are also recruiting for an assistant fee-earner of minimum Grade C level who will assist an experienced Grade A fee earner or a team.
