About the role
What you will be doing
- Running a caseload of pre-litigation and litigated accidents abroad cases
- Ensuring that cases are progressed effectively, meeting defined deadlines, and complying with precedents and documents in our case management system
- Providing a high level of client care, respect and integrity in the management and progression of client’s cases
- Obtaining medical evidence when required and reviewing and providing advice on it
- Collating and reviewing documentation and evidence
- Managing all aspects of cases including time recording, billing and debtor management in order to achieve personal fee and chargeable time targets
- Actively engaging in Business Development to ensure high visibility of the department and wider company

In the role you will need (ESSENTIALS):
- Experience in a similar role and should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Personal Injury and Travel Litigation markets.
- A sound understanding of the relevant law.
- A strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of a case from beginning to end.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by an ability to communicate accurately, clearly, and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Be able to demonstrate high client care/service skills.
It is desired that you have:
- Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability prioritise a workload effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
- Solid experience in using a variety of IT packages. Use of Proclaim, Case Management System, an advantage.
