We run offsites and other team events for startups. We're a remote-first team of three, still at an early stage of our journey and building the plane as we fly it. If that sounds fun rather than alarming, you might fit in here!

Why we're hiring: It's time for us to move beyond our Founder-led sales model. Thankfully, demand is now proven, our unit economics are strong, and clients keep coming back. But when our Founder gets busy, the effort that goes towards generating new business takes a hit. We're looking for someone who can take ownership and help us move past this bottleneck.

What you'll own:

  • Lead generation: You’ll build our pipeline, owning outbound efforts across multiple channels and ensuring we consistently reach the right people in a way that lands.
  • In-person relationships: You'll be the face of Huddle in London's startup community, regularly attending events and building relationships.
  • System-building: You'll help build out the systems and playbooks that make our sales processes efficient.
  • Winning business: You’ll craft proposals and, over time, own closing opportunities yourself.

Who we're looking for:

  • You don't need a decade of experience or a glittering CV, but you should fit the below profile.
  • You're at the right point in your career: You're probably a few years in and looking for ownership and the chance to grow quickly. Stability and comfort are not your priorities.
  • You're driven and self-motivated: You’re a diligent person who will do the work to consistently create opportunities.
  • You're good with people: You enjoy meeting new people and building relationships. Startup leaders will trust you and enjoy talking to you. Fluent English is a must.
  • You’re independent and comfortable with ambiguity: You don’t need playbooks or someone telling you what to do. You’re keen to have freedom to do your thing.
  • You have good commercial instincts: You can think about who we should target and why.
  • You have sales experience: You have experience with sales, business development, or a client-facing commercial role.
  • You have startup experience or a network in startups: You know how startups work, get the prevailing culture, and can help us open doors.
  • You have the right to work in the UK: Unfortunately, we can’t sponsor visas for this role.

What we offer:

  • Proper ownership: As our first commercial hire, you'll get to own the space that is generating new business.
  • Real space to grow: We don't know what the org chart will look like in 12+ months, but if you want a place where you can fast-track your career, this is it.
  • A fun place to work: We prioritise enjoying what we do and we care about having a fun life outside of work.
  • Competitive pay and equity: You'll receive a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, and a meaningful slice of a profitable, fast-growing business.

Practicalities:

  • Location: London. We need you to be based in our target market.
  • Employment type: Likely full-time, but open to other arrangements for the right person.
  • Start date: Early 2027.
