An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Development Analyst to join a well-established pensions organisation based in London. This role is ideal for someone with strong SQL and systems support experience who enjoys working across technical support, data analysis, business applications and project delivery.
The successful candidate will support pension business applications, system configuration, SQL reporting, upgrades and technical support activities, while collaborating closely with internal teams and third-party providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting business pension applications and technical support requests
- Writing SQL queries and supporting data analysis/reporting
- Assisting with system upgrades and business projects
- Managing support tickets, defects and change requests
- Supporting front-end pension system configuration tasks
- Producing reports and Zendesk statistics
- Working closely with third-party suppliers
- Supporting data integrity and process improvement initiatives
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong SQL query writing and scripting skills
- Experience with database management tools
- VBA / Visual Basic experience
- Strong Excel, MS Office and SharePoint skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- UPM knowledge
- Excellent employer pension contribution – 16%, increasing to 19% after 3 years
- Hybrid working arrangement with up to 3 days working from home after training
