An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded and growing Pensions Management Consulting team within a leading UK consultancy.
The team advises a diverse portfolio of trustee and corporate clients, helping them manage and operate their pension schemes effectively. This is a broad and varied position combining trustee secretarial work, pension scheme governance, project management and client relationship management.
It would suit an experienced pensions professional from a consultancy, in-house pensions or scheme management background who enjoys working closely with trustees and wants to develop their career within pensions governance and management consulting.

- Delivering trustee secretarial and pension scheme management services to a portfolio of clients
- Acting as a named Trustee Secretary for selected schemes
- Advising trustees and sponsors on pension scheme governance and industry best practice
- Supporting clients with regulatory developments and governance requirements
- Developing and reviewing risk registers and governance frameworks
- Managing Member Nominated Trustee exercises and other scheme governance projects
- Liaising with advisers, regulatory bodies and other third parties

- Supporting and developing more junior colleagues
About you
You will have a strong background within the pensions industry, ideally gained within pensions management, governance, consulting or an in-house pension scheme environment.
You should have a good understanding of how occupational pension schemes are managed and governed, together with experience of working with trustees, sponsors, advisers and other stakeholders.
Experience across areas such as trustee secretarial services, scheme governance, risk management, regulatory requirements and pensions project management would be particularly relevant.
A professional pensions qualification such as APMI or FPMI would be advantageous, although candidates with strong relevant experience and a commitment to continued professional development will also be considered.
You’ll also be someone who:
