We are currently recruiting to the role of Project Worker, to support the expanding delivery of the Foundation's projects and programmes. In this role you will work with a broad age range of participants in different locations, including schools and other community settings, on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Project Workers will be allocated to deliver on one or more of the following programmes:
- Premier League Primary Stars
- Health and Wellbeing
We are particularly excited to hear from candidates who have sports coaching experience and experience of working within primary school settings. Further details of these programmes are set out in the full application pack for the role.
As a Project Worker you must be well-organised and able to plan and deliver engaging and fun sessions that are relevant to the participants and the overarching aims of our projects. You must be passionate about using the power of sport to engage with and inspire people of different ages and from different backgrounds.
We are looking for candidates who have demonstrable experience in delivering sports sessions and/or support interventions with people of all ages and with different levels of ability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to this role.
Applicants must be educated to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English at grades A*-C (or 9-4) and hold a FA Level 2 Football Coaching qualification or other relevant qualification, along with valid First Aid and safeguarding qualifications and/or training. Candidates must have a positive and professional attitude and a passion for helping others to achieve their goals.
Applicants must be willing to work both indoors and outdoors and have a flexible approach to work and working hours, as well as the ability to travel to different locations.
