Finance Manager in Huddersfield

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Manager will take responsibility for day-to-day financial management, monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and high-quality financial support to Huddersfield Town Foundation staff, the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. The role will also coordinate financial returns to statutory bodies and funding partners and support good governance through the review of relevant policies, risk documentation and working practices.

What are we looking for?

- An experienced and inclusive finance professional - someone with strong financial management experience, ideally within the charity sector - who can promote sound financial control and attention to detail, work collaboratively across the Foundation, and embed our Terrier Spirit values in everything they do.

This role reflects our commitment to sustainable growth and impact. With a team of 22 staff and a turnover of £1.2m, the Foundation is entering a new chapter. The Board has ambitious plans, and we need a resilient, knowledgeable and values-led finance professional to provide the control, insight and support required to deliver our mission to empower OUR TOWN to thrive.

The post holder will be working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and providing timely information and constructive challenge to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees to support the future direction and sustainability of the Foundation.
