We are looking for a dedicated and passionate IT Services Technician (1st / 2nd line). 37 hours per week, Full Year.
Salary: Range 9-11 of the NJC pay framework for Support Staff, £26,818 - £28,634 per annum. Standard practice is to appoint at bottom of scale.
Role Overview: We’re seeking a motivated and adaptable IT professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a genuine interest in technology. In this role, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for students and staff, providing confident, customer‑focused support. You’ll assist with the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the College’s IT hardware & software assets and network infrastructure, working within a dedicated team that ensures the organisation’s technical systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Applicants will have excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills and should be educated to Level 3 (A level or equivalent) or have experience of working in an IT support/helpdesk role.
