Project Overview

I'm looking for an experienced web designer to improve the design and user experience of an existing AI-powered virtual try-on platform. The goal is to create a modern, visually engaging product that feels natural to use, builds customer trust, and encourages users to keep exploring. The platform allows individuals to upload a photo of themselves and a clothing item to see how it might look on them. Clothing businesses, including boutiques and online retailers, can also offer virtual try-on experiences to their own customers. Since the product combines fashion, personal photos, and AI-generated results, the design should feel creative, fashion-focused, and visually appealing while remaining practical and easy to navigate.

Current Status

  • Sign-in: A clear and straightforward entry point for users.
  • Virtual Try-On Studio: The main experience where users upload photos and generate try-on results.
  • Gallery: A space for viewing previously generated images.
  • Pricing: A page where users can review and purchase credit packs. Users spend credits to generate try-on results.

The core product is in place, but the current design needs improvement before launch. I'm not looking to build a new product or redesign everything from scratch. I want to work from the existing pages and upgrade their visual quality, usability, and overall experience.

Design Goals

  • Modern visual direction: Develop a distinctive, polished look that reflects fashion, creativity, and AI-powered technology.
  • Clear user experience: Make it immediately obvious how to start a try-on, upload images, generate results, and continue using the platform.
  • Better presentation: Improve how uploaded photos, generated results, and gallery images are displayed, with a strong focus on visual quality.
  • Customer trust: Make the experience feel reliable and professional, particularly around image uploads, generation progress, results, and credit usage.
  • Improved conversion: Make pricing and credit packs easier to understand, helping users feel confident about purchasing credits.
  • Responsive design: Ensure the experience works smoothly on mobile, tablet, and desktop, with layouts suited to each screen size.

The final design should balance creative freedom with usability. It should look attractive without making the product harder to understand or use.

Scope of Work

The project will focus on reviewing and redesigning the existing sign-in, try-on studio, gallery, and pricing pages. I'll provide access to the current project so you can examine the existing design and understand how the product works before proposing your approach. The redesign should preserve the established product structure and core functionality while making meaningful improvements to the overall experience.

What I'm Looking For

I'm looking for a designer with experience creating high-quality, customer-facing websites or digital products. Experience with fashion, e-commerce, image-focused interfaces, AI products, or credit-based purchasing flows would be particularly valuable. I appreciate designers who can combine strong visual design with practical UX decisions, understand the needs of first-time users, and explain the reasoning behind their design choices.
