We're looking for a technically strong Sales Engineer to join this growing commercial team. You'll own the technical side of the sales process, from initial discovery and demonstrations through to technical validation and evaluation projects. Acting as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, you'll work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to help organisations understand how their platform can solve their challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, tailored technical demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Lead technical evaluation and proof-of-concept engagements, designing scenarios that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Address technical questions and objections throughout the sales cycle.
- Advise customers on deployment approaches, integrations, and best practices within their existing environments.
- Gather, document, and communicate customer requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition from evaluation to onboarding.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or technical pre‑sales role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, and security principles.
- Experience working with SaaS platforms, APIs, and third‑party integrations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and customer engagements simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
