Huboo is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Carrier Manager to take ownership of carrier strategy and performance across the UK, Europe, and globally. You\’ll play a key role in developing, managing, and optimising our carrier partnerships to ensure cost-effective, reliable, and scalable fulfilment solutions for our growing client base.

Your Responsibilities
As Carrier Manager, you\’ll be responsible for ensuring Huboo\’s carrier network runs efficiently, cost-effectively, and delivers an excellent customer experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Selecting and managing carriers to support company logistics and delivery needs.
- Negotiating carrier contracts, rates, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitoring carrier performance through scorecards and KPIs.
- Acting as the main point of contact for carrier relationships, resolving service or delivery issues.
- Analysing carrier spend and performance data to identify cost-saving or service improvement opportunities.
- Ensuring carriers comply with all legal, safety, and operational standards.
- Working cross-functionally with operations, finance, and customer service teams to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, enhance delivery speed, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
What We\’re Looking For
We\’d love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience managing carrier or transport networks within a logistics or eCommerce environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing EU and UK carrier relationships.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Solid understanding of logistics operations, cost analysis, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience in eCommerce fulfilment or 3PL environments.
- Familiarity with international shipping and customs processes.
- Proven ability to implement continuous improvement projects in logistics.
