The Role
We’re looking for a Graduate Technical Content Author to join our Technical Content team in Newcastle. If you speak Danish like a native and want to build a career where language, accuracy, and technical detail matter, this is a strong place to start. You’ll create and maintain Danish-language product content that supports customers, manufacturers, and digital platforms across the construction market. Working alongside experienced technical specialists, you will build practical skills in technical content, structured data, and digital product information from the start. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to apply what they have learned in a practical setting and build specialist skills that will last.
Responsibilities
- You’ll turn technical product information into clear, accurate, structured content.
- Working with manufacturer literature, certifications, specifications, and product data, you’ll ensure information is high quality, market-ready, and easy for customers to use.
- Day to day, you’ll review documents, write and update content, check quality, and ensure product information is uploaded correctly into our platforms.
- You’ll review manufacturer documentation, technical literature, and certification information and turn it into accurate Danish-language content for our platforms.
- You’ll write and update product descriptions, specifications, and structured product data to meet our quality standards.
- You’ll classify products using systems such as Uniclass, CAWS, and other relevant frameworks.
- You’ll upload BIM-related and structured product information into NBS platforms accurately and on time.
- You’ll proofread and moderate manufacturer-submitted content and documents to ensure everything is consistent, clear, and reliable.
- You’ll manage product updates requested by manufacturers and help with shared inbox queries and technical calls where needed.
- You’ll work closely with Technical Content, Sales, and Customer Success to support smooth onboarding and delivery.
About You
You speak and write Danish at a native level and communicate confidently in English. You write clearly, notice detail, and care about quality. You’re organised, comfortable using digital tools, and able to manage a mix of writing, checking, and coordination work. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you do need the right mindset. You should be curious, open to feedback, and motivated to learn. You should enjoy working carefully, solving problems, and taking ownership of your work. This role will suit someone early in their career who wants to build a career in technical content and digital product information. An interest in technical writing, product information, digital content, BIM, SEO, or the construction industry will help you stand out. Most of all, we’re looking for someone who is thoughtful, precise, and ready to grow in a specialist role.
Benefits
Alongside a competitive salary, reviewed annually, you will benefit from 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell leave. Full-time hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of three days in the office. We invest in your future with a strong pension, discretionary performance-related pay, life assurance, and discounted private medical insurance. You will also have access to an employee assistance programme with confidential support and 24/7 remote GP access for you and your family. Your growth matters here. You will have access to LinkedIn Learning, our learning management system, and professional development support that can include formal learning, courses and wider career development. We also offer two paid volunteering days each year, a full day off for your birthday, and a half day at Christmas. For everyday wellbeing and practical support, you can also make use of our onsite gym, eye care support, an interest-free travel ticket loan, and a cycle to work scheme.
