Salary: Basic + monthly commission OTE £32,000
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Build your sales career helping construction businesses find and win more work.
Role
Your focus will be to source potential new customers for the Glenigan platform. You will make outbound calls, use LinkedIn, re‑engage lapsed customers and follow up marketing activity to identify businesses that could benefit from Glenigan. This is a phone‑led, target‑driven sales role. Activity matters, but quality matters too. You will need to ask good questions, listen properly, handle objections and explain why Glenigan could be useful to the customer’s business. You will work closely with Business Development Managers so the meetings you book have a strong chance of converting into sales. You will be supported with sales training, product knowledge and clear performance expectations. This is a role where you can build confidence quickly, learn a valuable sales process and start earning monthly commission as your results improve.
Why this role matters
Glenigan helps businesses across the construction sector find projects, spot opportunities and plan for future growth. Your role helps create the start of that customer journey. By opening the right conversations with the right businesses, you will help generate pipeline, support new customer growth and create opportunities for the wider sales team. This is not a role where you wait for leads to land. It is about being proactive, resilient and commercially curious.
What you’ll be doing
- You will identify and contact potential new customers across the construction sector.
- You will make outbound calls to relevant B2B decision‑makers to understand their needs and introduce Glenigan.
- You will re‑engage lapsed customers and self‑source new prospects.
- You will use LinkedIn and other channels to support prospecting and networking.
- You will follow up marketing campaigns and identify new business opportunities.
- You will book qualified meetings for Business Development Managers.
- You will work closely with Business Development Managers to support a strong conversion rate from meeting to sale.
- You will learn the Glenigan platform and understand how it helps customers find opportunities, win work and grow their pipeline.
- You will maintain accurate Salesforce records so activity, meetings and progress are visible.
- You will work to clear performance metrics, including phone activity, meetings booked, meetings sat and conversion from meeting to sale.
- You may also attend industry exhibitions and field events to help identify and develop qualified leads.
About you
You are confident speaking to people by phone, video and online. You enjoy working to targets and get energy from seeing your results improve. You are interested in new business and enjoy opening conversations with people you have not spoken to before. You communicate clearly and can build rapport quickly. You are organised, resilient and able to manage a busy workload. You are willing to learn a specialist market and understand how Glenigan helps customers in the construction sector. You can handle objections professionally and keep momentum in conversations. You take ownership of your activity, follow‑up and results. Previous B2B sales, telesales, customer service or lead generation experience would be helpful, but it is not essential if you have the right attitude, confidence and willingness to learn. Experience or interest in construction, building products or the built environment would also be useful, but we will help you build your market knowledge.
Why us...
At Hubexo, commercial roles are closely connected to customer growth. You will use our data, insights and software to help customers solve real problems across the construction market. You will join a business with trusted brands, strong market knowledge and long‑standing customer relationships. In return, we need people who can build on those foundations, stay close to customer problems and take ownership of work that creates customer value. For this role, that means learning how to open conversations, create pipeline, build commercial confidence and support new business growth.
What you can expect
- A clear entry point into B2B sales.
- OTE of £32,000, with monthly commission.
- Sales training and development to help you build confidence quickly.
- A product with a clear customer value proposition in the construction market.
- A target‑driven environment where results are recognised and rewarded.
- A team that works closely with Marketing and Business Development Managers.
- The chance to build sales skills that can support future progression into business development, account management, customer success or wider commercial roles.
