Talent Responsibilities
Procurement
Defines Astrolab procurement strategy, objectives and guidelines in close collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Global Sourcing.

Active management of Astrolab supplier base
Selects, manages, evaluates and develops the local supplier base in close alignment with Global Category strategies.

Optimizes our negotiation power (consolidated supplier portfolio, partnership approach vs. looking for new opportunities, identifying the benchmark, etc.).

Leads negotiations with key suppliers and set contracts or agreements (consignment stock, quantity contracts, GPAs) in adherence to prescribed purchasing standard to legally protect the company.

Monitors supplier risks and their performance (delivery performance, quality level) to avoid supply constraints.

Participates in supplier audits and meetings.
