Pro-active monitoring of supply markets and technology trends (Supply market survey). Analyse global spend and identify global and cross-divisional cost reduction opportunities. Define and align the Global Category Strategy and the supplier portfolio with x-functional team considering all relevant dimensions such as price, function, technology, quality, delivery performance, environmental/social aspects and business. Ensure implementation of Global Category Strategy in close cooperation with operational buyers and sourcing departments of Group Companies. Identify and mitigate the category-specific risks for electronics regarding obsolescence, EOL, lead times and single sources. Make or Buy: Identify cost-reduction opportunities by outsourcing electronic sub-assemblies to competitive electronic manufacturing service providers. Inform local buyers and internal customers about strategies, conditions, supplier profiles. Define and maintain highly competitive supplier portfolio: Ensure qualification, rating, classification and development of supplier base. Establish long‑term relationships with preferred and key suppliers and develop continuously their price competitiveness and performance regarding quality and delivery. Review and release supplier changes with x-functional team. Conduct regular supplier audits of key suppliers or where requested by customers. Pool demand by running RFQs across Segments and Group Companies to achieve competitive prices. Promote, develop and monitor safety/buffer stocks with suppliers (VMI, quantity contracts, consignment stock). Negotiate global contracts (e.g. Global Purchasing Agreement, Project Agreement, Quality Agreements, Consignment Stock Agreement). Monitoring of cost savings and supplier performance throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and security of supply. Ensure development of innovation potential of key suppliers and support Advanced Sourcing Experts during cost‑down projects. Provide monthly reporting to Head Global Sourcing.
Your profile: Completed successfully technical studies, with training in business. Minimum of 4 to 5 years strategic sourcing experience. Several years of experience in the electronics industry. Strong knowledge in contract management. Experienced in international supply markets. Strong analytical skills. Structured in order to progress based on clear and committed targets. High degree of self-initiative. Strong cross-functional leadership skills. Strong team player. Result and solution oriented. Flexible for travelling (20-30%). Skilled MS-Office software. Strong ERP knowledge (SAP). Good quality management skills incl. FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, SPC.
