We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our Operations Team in Cambridge.

Working within a clean room setting, you will be involved in the assembly, inspection, testing and analysis of precision micro-components, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, process development and prototype projects.

The Role
- Assemble, inspect and test precision micro-components and finished products within a clean room environment.
- Build product sub-assemblies and final units to specification.
- Operate, monitor and adjust production equipment to ensure quality and productivity targets are achieved.
- Troubleshoot equipment, process and product issues.
- Support prototype builds, new product introductions and process development activities.
- Calibrate equipment and carry out inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation and tracking systems.
- Prepare materials for manufacture and manage inventory requirements.
- Package finished products and support production planning to meet delivery schedules.
- Create and maintain standard work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, organised work area in line with Health & Safety and 5S standards.
About You
We're looking for a practical, motivated individual with a strong eye for detail and a passion for quality.
You'll ideally have experience within a manufacturing, engineering, electronics, optical, aerospace or precision assembly environment, although candidates with transferable technical skills are also encouraged to apply.
