Event Manager – FTC (6 months) Up to £36,000 per annum (Pro-rata) + excellent benefits I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Event Manager to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a varied portfolio of live, virtual and hybrid events including conferences, exhibitions and awards. You\’ll be responsible for managing projects from end to end, ensuring they run seamlessly and exceed client expectations. The role will involve: Operational planning and delivery of multiple events Managing budgets, suppliers, timelines and logistics Leading on client communications to ensure exceptional service Overseeing junior colleagues where appropriate Some UK travel, with occasional overnight stays The ideal candidate will have: Minimum of three years\’ experience at Event Manager level (and at least five years in the events industry overall) Experience delivering a variety of event formats (live, virtual, hybrid) Strong budgeting and financial management skills Impeccable attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple deadlines Excellent client and stakeholder management skills Strong Microsoft Office skills (experience with Cvent desirable) A collaborative, team-focused approach This is a fantastic interim opportunity for a skilled events professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing complex projects to life.
