This role is designed for an individual eager to make a direct impact on HubBox’s continued success and growth. HubBox occupies a unique position in a rapidly expanding market, enabling retailers to provide a convenient delivery alternative by integrating Out-of-Home (OOH) locations, such as local shops and lockers, as a delivery point at the checkout.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business prospects and cultivating strategic relationships with prospective partners. We are looking for an ambitious sales professional who thrives on outbound activity and possesses a natural talent for uncovering new accounts. Working closely with internal teams and the Strategy Lead, you will help shape opportunities from the ground up and play a direct role in driving the company’s expansion. For someone motivated by autonomy, accountability, and the challenge of building a territory, this is an opportunity to make a significant, visible impact. Additionally, within this role, you will have a clear path to progress throughout HubBox with different avenues to take in your career.

This is a very exciting time to be joining our fast‑growing team with huge experience in the Out of Home Market.

Office Requirements: This role requires you to be in the office three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own outbound prospecting activity to identify, research, and engage target accounts, opening new business opportunities from cold.
  • Execute high‑volume, high‑quality outbound activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other channels) to generate first conversations from cold.
  • Qualify prospects against agreed criteria before progressing opportunities and handing them over to Account Executives.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities through consistent, high‑volume outbound activity.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure clean handovers, strong account context, and continuity from first conversation onwards.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of leads, interactions, and progress in the company's CRM system.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads to the sales team.

Experience That Fits This Role:

  • Proven early years experience in a sales or business development role, with a track record of creating opportunities from scratch through outbound activity.
  • Experience in e‑commerce, logistics, or a related B2B environment is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders, build rapport quickly, and progress initial conversations.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage high‑volume outbound activity, prioritise effectively, and consistently follow up.
  • Results‑driven and proactive, with a mindset focused on hitting targets and generating pipeline rather than waiting for opportunity.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems to track activity, manage pipeline, and report against KPIs; proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with Account Executives and wider teams.

Our Values:

  • We collaborate: Open conversations, fresh perspectives and real connections with our colleagues, clients and partners are at the heart of HubBox.
  • We’re agile: Retail moves fast, and so do we. We’re constantly innovating so we can continue to shape the future of shipping with the Power of Pickup.
  • We put people first: From celebrating team wins to acting on feedback, HubBox is a place where people feel truly seen and valued.
  • As HubBox continues to scale, we really value face‑to‑face connection - so it’s important that you’re visible.
  • We’re proud of the spaces we’ve created for the HubBox team, and because of that, you’ll need to be within easy reach of the office and commit to being in the office 3 days a week.

Diversity and Inclusion: The diversity of our team reflects the diversity of our clients, partners and customers. We don’t just welcome diverse communities – we celebrate them. We’ve built an environment where everyone is supported and respected, and we want you to feel that too. We value fresh ideas, different ways of thinking, and new approaches – and we listen closely. We’re committed to learning and improving as we grow.

What’s in it for you? At HubBox, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference. The opportunities for personal growth are huge, and your ideas will always be heard and valued.

  • 25 days holiday per calendar year plus the usual public holidays, and you then get an extra day for every year you work at HubBox up to 30 days.
  • Enhanced Paid Parental Leave.
  • Work Outside the Office (WOO) for up to 2 weeks a year.
  • Pension contribution on qualifying earnings (not a perk, but still an important part of the package).
  • A great space to work – our Old Street office is more than just a desk. It’s a buzzing, well‑designed hub for collaboration, creativity and a bit of fun, all just a short walk from several tube stations.
