This role requires someone who can combine consultative sales expertise with a true hunter mindset. As the UK Account Executive, you’ll take full ownership of the sales cycle, successfully converting warm inbound leads while proactively identifying and developing new opportunities. You’ll build trusted relationships, understand customer challenges, and position our solution that drive long-term value. This is a critical role in our continued growth, supported by established carrier partnerships that offer direct introductions to leading UK retailers. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive revenue growth by winning new customers and selling our software to ecommerce businesses across the UK.
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from identifying and proactively pursuing new business opportunities through to negotiating and closing signed contracts.
- Convert a mix of outbound prospects and inbound/warm leads into qualified opportunities, using a hunter mindset alongside a consultative sales approach.
- Collaborate closely with Integrations and Client Success teams post-sale to ensure a smooth handover and a seamless onboarding experience for new customers.
- Contribute to our go-to-market strategy by supporting target account mapping, sharing market intelligence, and helping refine our ideal customer profile.
- Work cross-functionally with Business Development and Channel teams to shape and execute joint engagement strategies with carrier and partner ecosystems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, ensuring strong pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and clear activity tracking.
Experience That Fits This Role:
- Proven and successful experience in an Account Executive or closing role, ideally within ecommerce, SaaS, or a technology-led environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and compelling messages across both direct conversations and automated outreach.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and a large portfolio of accounts simultaneously.
- Proactive self-starter who can work independently, take ownership of their pipeline and account base, and consistently drive results.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the flexibility to adjust priorities and approaches as needed.
- High level of technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and confidently work with new software platforms, particularly CRM systems and automation tools.
- Open and eager to learn new processes, systems, and technologies, with training and development provided to support growth in the role.
