About Us
Hubber is on a mission to electrify urban transport. Cities are going electric, but not fast enough. Commercial fleets — Ubers, delivery vans, taxis — are electrifying faster than cities can support. We develop ultra-rapid charging hubs in dense urban locations, solving the hardest constraint in the system: land, power, and timely execution. In the last 12 months, we launched our first hubs, closed a £60m funding round, and signed contracts with global industry leading partners. We’re profitable, backed by top-tier investors, and scaling fast. Pipeline is our biggest constraint — and you’ll work to drive our growth.
The Role
If you’re coming from agency and want to own outcomes rather than just advise on them, this is that jump. You’ll originate, assess, and execute urban freehold and leasehold transactions, working directly with the founders. Expect autonomy, pace, and accountability. You’ll be reporting directly to the founders and expected to operate with autonomy and urgency.
Key responsibilities
- Originate and deliver deals – Build a pipeline of viable opportunities, building new and expanding existing relationships with agents, landlords, and off‑market channels. Convert conversations into live deals.
- Build the brand – Help us establish Hubber as THE go to urban infrastructure platform. Bring deals forward because people take your call and trust your judgement. Identify partnerships and portfolios that can scale with us.
- Read the angle – Close out risk and take full responsibility for commercial, planning, power & legal. Apply instinct and common sense, own your outcomes, manage your time.
- Build the strategy – Improve our playbook for sourcing and closing. Build insight into the market, shaping our path, not just executing instructions.
Who You Are
You’re commercial, sharp, and biased to action. You’re comfortable leading your own projects and love getting deals done. You likely have:
- Background in agency, acquisitions or development, 5+ years' experience
- MRICS or equivalent
- Strong relationship building skills and commercial judgement
- An existing real estate network that allows you to identify opportunities from day 1
- Comfortable operating independently and close to decision makers
Bonus:
- Interest in energy, mobility, or infrastructure
- Familiarity with GIS & data tools to scale acquisitions
Why Join Hubber
- Learn fast – Work directly with ex‑Tesla founders and industry experts
- Own your lane – Get real autonomy and see the impact of your work immediately
- Accelerate your career – This role can grow into leadership as the platform scales
- Build real things – Your work will put hardware in the ground, vehicles on charge, and carbon out the atmosphere
