The Sales Account Manager (Stationary) is responsible for managing and developing long‑term relationships with our key customers. This role focuses on developing existing accounts and importantly identifying opportunities for growth, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service throughout the lifecycle of their refrigeration equipment.
The role acts as the primary point of contact for allocated stationary/commercial accounts, providing guidance, commercial support, and proactive communication to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this role, the Sales Account Manager will work closely with the sales, design, production and service teams to ensure quotations, product specifications, and service agreements are aligned with customer requirements.
The role is responsible for analysing customer needs, presenting tailored refrigeration solutions, and driving revenue growth with the opening of new accounts as well as the growth of existing accounts. The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of commercial refrigeration systems. This role requires a proactive, organised, and customer‑centric professional committed to achieving targets and supporting the strategic business objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities- Responsibility for all sales activities within the wholesale and small commercial business sector.
- Achieving agreed sales budgets.
- Monthly reporting of activities.
- Maintaining and building relationships with key customers.
- Opening new accounts within the HORECA sector (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes).
- Producing yearly sales budgets alongside the Head of Commercial Business.
- Identifying and pursuing new markets.
- External sales activity and achieving set F2F visit targets to ensure maximum exposure to all customers.
- Identify end users with a view to specification.
- Liaise with Sales department to ensure orders are processed and delivered to agreed delivery dates.
- Follow up on all quotations to conclusion.
- Follow up on all sales leads generated.
- Work with our other affiliates, like AHT UK, to promote their cabinet range when possible.
- Find opportunities for Turnkey solutions.
- Support and assist others in the sales team with their sectors when required.
- Attend industry events.
- Host customers across manufacturing sites, e.g. Zanotti factory in Italy to showcase the manufacture of Monoblocs and other condensing units, the Daikin factory in Ostende and AHT factory in Austria to present the advantages of their cabinets.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Stationary Refrigeration Sector.
- Knowledge of Stationary Refrigeration Market.
- Knowledge of Stationary Refrigeration Products.
- Ability to develop proposals and quotations for refrigeration products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
