What We’re Looking For Our Community Branch Network Division is seeking a client-focused Insurance Advisor, Personal Lines . We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Our Surrey office first opened its doors in 1979 within the Newton Crossing mall and has been operating there ever since. We are proud to be a long-term partner in the community, providing insurance solutions to both businesses and individuals in the area for over 30 years. Requirements Level 2 General Insurance License 2+ year experience in personal insurance Client service focused with exceptional communication skills Excellent insurance product knowledge Asset experience that will make you stand out: You have or are working towards an industry designation A Day in the Life Administer a personal insurance book of business Sell ICBC and private automobile coverage Perform front line underwriting and write new home, travel, and umbrella policies while cross-selling other products Develop new business opportunities by securing renewals and cross-selling Contact clients for renewal information and provide policy and coverage details as needed Adhere to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan and Private Auto Sales Ensure compliance with insurers, Insurance Council of BC, and Privacy Act rules Manage ICBC inventory and handle documentation and funds properly Handle customer complaints professionally Represent HUB and uphold our values, mission, and vision Where This Can Take You We invest in our employees with coaching, mentorship, and extensive sales training.
