Position Overview
The role is for a GPU Architecture Engineer to join a team working at the forefront of mobile GPU development. The successful candidate will work on developing or defining GPU architecture, micro‑architecture, profiling and analysing PPA, and proposing and developing new techniques for GPU implementation and potential future hardware implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new GPU architecture.
- Model performance and estimate PPA for new GPU features.
- Evaluate GPU system features and micro‑architecture implementation trade‑offs.
- Design and optimize real‑time graphics algorithms or shader programs to improve performance, save bandwidth and power.
- Perform performance and power tuning.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in GPU architecture development.
- Self‑motivated, well‑organized and a strong team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong coding ability.
- Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following technologies: Vulkan, OpenGL ES, Metal, DirectX 11 or 12, and/or OpenCL.
