Senior Linux Kernel Engineer - UK

We are seeking experienced senior members to join our team in the UK, with a strong background in relevant technical areas and a passion for working with the open source community. The role involves a mix of design, development, and collaboration within a dynamic environment.

The job description provides an outline of the key responsibilities and expectations. The successful candidate will perform additional duties as assigned by their line manager. Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Efficient in multicultural, multi-site, multi-language, and fast-paced settings, potentially managing small teams.

  • Understanding of end-to-end platform design and relevance to low-level components.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to engage in both architecture and implementation, including reviewing and writing code.
  • Expertise in Linux Kernel and/or QEMU.

  • Experience as an open source maintainer or reviewer is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to own problems and see solutions through to completion.
