Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical research at the Huawei Edinburgh Research Centre and gather information on the latest technology and industry development trends.
- Assess the potential applications and value scenarios of cutting‑edge technologies, collaborate with business teams and support pre‑research planning for next‑generation technologies.
- Produce insight reports, compile key technical points, and organise internal technical sharing sessions.
Skill Requirements:
- Technical insight ability: sensitivity to top‑tier cutting‑edge technologies, strong technical and industry insight capabilities, quick tracking and summarisation of technology trends.
- Foundational software skills: knowledge of software architecture and reserves in areas such as large models, systems, databases, compilers, and languages.
- Value identification ability: business thinking, ability to identify commercial application scenarios, evaluate value‑added capability of technology for business, and provide support for long‑term technical project development.
- Written communication skills: excellent writing, report design and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Communication and collaboration skills: collaborate closely with technical experts and business teams, understand business needs from a technical perspective, and provide strong feedback reception abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in computer science or engineering.
- Experience in technical projects or project development.
- Familiarity with Office software.
