Job Summary

We are seeking a multi-tasker with excellent project management skills and a consistently positive attitude to join our Computing team. The Project Assistant will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of ICT projects in the team. The role involves administrative support, documentation, tracking project progress, assisting in stakeholder communication, and ensuring project deliverables are achieved on time and within scope. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of project processes and the ability to stay organized under pressure. This person should be proactive, responsive, and accountable, always prepared to meet challenges directly and take ownership of results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including proposals, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies using project management tools.
  • Help identify project risks and assist in maintaining the project risk register.
  • Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.
  • Ensure all project documentation complies with company standards and external requirements.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Project management certification is an advantage.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, or IT support role. Experience in ICT or software development projects preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with ICT systems, software and hardware knowledge. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player with proactive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
