Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analysis & Reliability Engineer to support the development, characterization, qualification, and optimization of next-generation III-V semiconductor photonic devices and optoelectronic components. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating device performance, conducting reliability assessments, analyzing complex test data, and identifying opportunities to improve device design, process robustness, and product quality. Working closely with design, process, test, and manufacturing teams, the role combines device characterization, reliability engineering, failure analysis, and data-driven problem solving to support both technology development and product qualification activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute device performance analysis and reliability qualification plans for III-V semiconductor photonic devices and optoelectronic components.
- Analyze electrical, optical, thermal, and reliability test data to evaluate device performance, identify trends and anomalies, assess reliability risks, and support product development activities.
- Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations on device performance, reliability, and quality issues, driving corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Develop and apply statistical analysis, automated data processing tools, and predictive models to improve understanding of device behavior, reliability performance, and process variation.
- Collaborate with design, process, test, and manufacturing teams to optimize device performance, improve reliability, and support new product introduction and technology transfer activities.
- Prepare technical reports, communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical knowledge sharing.

- Required:
- Master’s or PhD in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of III-V semiconductor optoelectronic device and laser physics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex experimental data and perform root cause investigations.
- Strong programming skills in Python/R for data analysis and automation.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis methods such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and statistical process control.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Flexible attitude to working hours.
