Job Summary: The role is for an engineer with a strong background in GPU Architecture simulation and modelling to join a team working at the forefront of mobile GPU development. The successful candidate will work on developing/defining simulators and models for GPU architecture and micro-architecture to enable profiling and analysis of PPA for new ideas and techniques both for GPU implementation and potential future implementation in hardware.

You should have a strong understanding of rendering technologies and graphics pipelines. Experience in designing and developing simulation environments in particular for GPU architectures is desired. Experience in system level features trade-off is also important.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop simulation and modelling tool flows.
  • Modelling, performance analysis and PPA estimation for GPU new features.
  • GPU system features and micro-architecture implementation trade-off.
  • Real-time graphics algorithms or shader program design and optimization to improve performance, save bandwidth and power.
  • Performance/Power Tuning.

Person Specification:

Required:

  • BSc or MSc in relevant discipline.
  • At least 5 years hands-on experience in GPU architecture development.
  • Self-motivated, well organized and good team player.
  • Good verbal and writing communication skills, great coding skills.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: Vulkan, OpenGLES, Metal, DirectX11 or 12 and/or OpenCL.

Desired:

  • PhD in relevant field.
