Accountability: Deputy Head of Retail and Head of Retail
Location: Various across Teesside – Acklam, Coulby Newham, Great Ayton, Guisborough, Ingleby Barwick, Linthorpe, Marske, Norton, Redcar, Saltburn, Skelton, Stokesley, Thornaby and Yarm
Time Commitment: Our shops are generally open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. Time commitment and availability can be discussed and agreed with the Shop Manager. Where possible, we ask that all volunteers commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week.
Age Requirements: From 14 years old plus
Role Summary: As a volunteer cashier, you will be at the heart of our operations, engaging with customers, handling payments, and expressing gratitude to our generous donors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the till
- Answering customer inquiries
- Promoting Gift Aid
- Collaborating with fellow volunteers to ensure efficient operations
