The Radiation Products & Services Manager will play a key role in driving the continued growth of HTSL Group’s radiation products, calibration, service, and Radiological Managed Services (RMS) offering. The role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing strategic customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and leading the commercial development of HTSL Group’s radiation instrumentation and service portfolio. Working closely with technical, service, and operational teams, the successful candidate will combine commercial leadership with technical understanding to deliver tailored customer solutions across instrumentation, calibration, maintenance, repair, compliance, and managed service contracts. This is a commercially focused role centred on revenue growth, customer engagement, market expansion, and strengthening HTSL Group’s position as a trusted partner for radiological products and services.

Duties:

  • Drive and deliver sales growth across HTSL Group’s radiation products, calibration, maintenance, repair, technical support, and Radiological Managed Services (RMS) portfolio.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the radiation products, sales, and service teams to deliver strong commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, performance management, mentoring, and ongoing support to build a high‑performing commercial and service function.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and drive accountability across sales and service activities to achieve revenue, operational, and customer service targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across nuclear, defence, healthcare, industrial, research, and other key market sectors.
  • Develop and grow strategic customer relationships, expanding existing accounts while generating new revenue opportunities.
  • Lead commercial activity including quotations, tenders, framework agreements, managed service proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Promote and sell value‑added service contracts, calibration agreements, maintenance packages, and RMS solutions to increase recurring revenue.
  • Work closely with internal technical, calibration, service, and operational teams to develop tailored customer solutions and ensure successful delivery.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and strengthen HTSL Group’s market position.
  • Support and develop supplier and manufacturer relationships to maximise commercial opportunities across the Group portfolio.
  • Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline, CRM system, forecasts, and business development reporting for senior management.
  • Represent HTSL Group professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, exhibitions, demonstrations, and industry events.
  • Act as a trusted commercial and technical advisor to customers across radiation instrumentation and associated services.
  • Support cross‑selling initiatives across the wider HTSL Group products and services portfolio to maximise customer value and revenue growth.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience within the radiological, scientific instrumentation, nuclear, or healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years technical sales experience.
  • Experience selling products and services in regulated markets.
  • Good understanding of radiation detection instrumentation, dosimetry, calibration, or associated radiological technologies.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and supporting business growth.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Confident working across technical and commercial teams.
  • Proactive and customer‑focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and reporting capability.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
