HTS (Property & Environment) Ltd proudly serves Harlow, delivering high-quality horticultural and landscaping services to enhance the town\’s green spaces. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Development Senior Gardener to join our team and lead on exciting landscape improvement projects

As a Senior Gardener, you will take the lead in developing and maintaining Harlow\’s parks and landscaped areas. You\’ll manage a team of gardeners, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership with practical horticultural expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct landscape development and maintenance projects.
• Supervise and motivate team members, including temporary staff and trainees.
• Maintain and establish shrub beds, hedges, trees, and ornamental planting.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
• Liaise with HTS and HDC officers, stakeholders, and the public.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of landscape improvement schemes.
• We\’re looking for someone with:

You will have a proven background in horticulture and landscape gardening, including team leadership and skills should include: Plant identification, pruning techniques, and use of powered hand tools and machinery.

You will have up to date knowledge on Health & safety, risk assessments, and horticultural best practices. Qualifications: RHS Level 3 or equivalent, PA1 & PA6 herbicide certification, and a full UK driving licence.
