Role Overview

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring guests receive a high standard of service throughout their dining or event experience. This includes preparing service areas, delivering food and drinks, and maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide professional, attentive service at all times
  • Take food and drink orders and serve accurately and efficiently
  • Set up and clear down tables and service areas
  • Assist with buffet setups, plated service, and drinks delivery
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across all F&B areas
  • Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
  • Handle guest queries or concerns with professionalism and a customer-first attitude

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 months of experience working in the UK hospitality sector (hotels, restaurants, or events)
  • Familiarity with food and beverage service procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure in busy environments

  • RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations)
