Join our growing team at HTP Apprenticeship College. We are looking for an individual to support Health & Social Care programmes, combining coaching, workplace assessment and delivering engaging training sessions (in-person and online). Vacancies are full-time permanent positions of 37 hours per week. Part-time positions of a minimum of 4 days / 30 hours will be considered.
Responsibilities- Provide knowledge-based coaching and workplace assessment for apprentices studying Health & Social Care programmes at Levels 2, 3 & 5, embedding functional skills.
- Guide learners through their learning journey, helping them gain the skills and confidence to succeed.
- Deliver engaging training sessions (in person and online) and work with learners and employers to support progress.
- Relevant industry experience: Ideally at supervisory or management level in the Adult Health Care Sector. Experience as an adult caregiver or healthcare assistant/professional, with exposure to hospitals, care homes or domiciliary care. Knowledge of important principles and policies in Health & Social Care, and an understanding of legal, professional standards and ethics.
- Passion for supporting others: Commitment to helping apprentices thrive in their roles.
- Great communication and organisation: Able to work independently and build relationships with learners and employers.
- Transport: Access to a vehicle to visit workplaces.
- Maths and English: GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent, to support apprentices.
- Motivation: Thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Experience or qualifications in assessing, verifying, or teaching is an advantage. If not, training and support will be provided to gain these qualifications.

Monday to Thursday: 9am–5pm
Friday: 9am–4:30pm
