Fortis Energy in Ryde, are looking to recruit for an Apprentice Commercial Accounts Administrator and Trainee Broker. Fortis Energy are a small, but friendly employer specialising in commercial gas and electricity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s ambitious, eager to learn, and ready to build a long-term career in a dynamic sector. The successful applicant will also be undertaking the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with HTP Apprenticeship College. What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the directors with day-to-day operations and general office administration
- Learning the In’s and Out’s of the business and sector through hands on experience
- Progressing to manage client accounts and train as a Commercial Broker with guidance from senior management
- Participating in client meetings and networking events (both locally and on the mainland) as your role develops
- Contributing to the company’s online presence, including social media and website content

- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail (Confident in Maths)
- Confidence using Excel and working with figures
- A natural ability to build rapport with clients

Job Overview
Initially as a Commercial Accounts Administrator, you would support the Directors in their day-to-day duties as well as completing general office administration. Once you understand the sector and their various procedures you would then receive on-going training from senior management enabling you to progress to working on client accounts and be fully trained as a Commercial Broker. This is an exciting time to join this company as you could soon become an instrumental team member as they continue to grow.
Job Details
Working hours are 9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday.
