Are you an experienced Automatic Door Engineer looking for a stable field-service role with door-to-door pay, premium overtime, a company van and regular work across the Midlands?

Salary: £18 to £20 per hour, equivalent to £37,440 to £41,600 basic salary

Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours, double time on Sundays and bank holidays

Hours: Full-time, permanent

Door-to-door pay, company van, fuel card, tools, uniform, pension and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

HTL Windows & Doors is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join its growing automatic door team, covering customer sites across the Midlands. This is a hands-on service, maintenance and repair role where you'll be trusted to manage your workload, diagnose faults properly and deliver a professional service to customers.

HTL Windows & Doors is an established automatic door specialist, supporting customers with maintenance, repairs and compliance. Since 2002, the business has completed more than 30,000 maintenance services and 5,000 repairs, helping customers keep their sites safe, operational and compliant.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing automatic doors across customer sites. The role will include planned maintenance, reactive callouts, fault diagnosis, repair work and completing electronic paperwork where required. You’ll work closely with customers and the office team to make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and professionally.

This role would suit an experienced Automatic Door Engineer, Automatic Door Technician or Field Service Engineer with hands-on automatic door experience.

  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good customer service and communication skills
