We proudly serve the NHS, completing over 800,000 essential journeys every year. With 13 operational bases and a dedicated team of over 800 passionate professionals, we deliver safe, caring, and high‑quality care across the country.
We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate individual who is structured and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences. You would be responsible for planning and controlling the daily movement of medically eligible patient journeys to and from their healthcare appointments in our non‑emergency ambulances. The aim of this role is to ensure precise controlling and planning of the ambulances, to allow eligible patients to get to and from their appointments in a timely manner, whilst ensuring mobility requirements of the booked journey are met.
We offer full‑time, permanent positions, working 37.5 hours per week across a flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday, between 6am - 10pm.
Summary Of Main Duties Include:
- Planning and controlling the daily movement of ambulance journeys transporting eligible patients to and from their healthcare appointments.
- Allocating physical resources and patient journeys using the Cleric System to our crew members and Volunteer Car Service workers.
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and hospital departments to ensure that we are able to maximise the utilisation of the available vehicles and staff.
- Building effective relationships with crews in order to ensure the best possible patient experience.
- Working within a team to make decisions about transportation which deliver the best outcomes for patients.

- Have the ability to plan appropriate journey routes for drivers.
- Possess problem‑solving ability for any challenges that may occur during day control.

- Have a good geographic knowledge of the area.
- Can stay calm under pressure.
